Historic and sophisticated

Built in the former Hospital de São Teotónio, dating from 1842 and completely rebuilt and adapted by architect Gonçalo Byrne in 2009, the Pousada, with views of the historic part of the city, is an important landmark in the most peaceful city centre in Portugal.

The Pousada also offers a restaurant, a bar and conference rooms. The rooms are spacious with balconies featuring great views.

During your stay at the Pousada Viseu, spend some time in the outdoor swimming pool or opt for something more relaxing, such as the massage room.

Savor the local cuisine at the Viriato restaurant and enjoy wine dinners. But if you prefer something more intimate, you can book the Pousada's Salão Nobre.

For meetings or events, the Pousada has several multidisciplinary rooms with a capacity of up to 400 people.
